The operating layer above your ERP

22 July 2026 · The Gensact team · 3 min read

Every established company already runs a serious stack: an ERP for operations, a CRM for customers, an HRMS for people, systems for finance, support and marketing. Each is excellent at its job. Each records and executes. And not one of them ever tells leadership, in a sentence, what to do next.

The empty seat at the top of the stack

Look at the org chart of your software and there is a role no product fills: the one that reads across all of it and forms a view. Your ERP does not know what your pipeline implies. Your CRM cannot see the cash position. The synthesis — the part a good chief of staff does — has no home in the stack. It lives in someone’s head, on their best days.

A layer, not another app

Decision intelligence is not a fourteenth system to log into. It is a layer above the thirteen you already have. It connects to them, reads continuously, and does the cross-functional reasoning none of them can do alone — then delivers the result where you work, or through a Robot that speaks it aloud.

Why the category is defensible

The systems of record own your data and they are not going anywhere. The unclaimed ground is the layer that turns that data into decisions across all of them at once. It is harder to build and far harder to copy, because its value grows with every system it reads and every decision it gets right.

The seat, filled

Give that empty seat to a system that never sleeps, reasons over everything at once, and hands leadership the three decisions that matter each week — ranked, explained, with the cost of waiting. That is the operating layer above your ERP. That is what we build.
